The RDA (recommended daily allowance) of fibre is between 18-30g, depending on your age and gender. Foods that contain more than 6g fibre or more per 100g are considered to be high fibre foods. Food containing at least 3g fibre per 100g are classed as a source of fibre.

Including enough fibre in our diets is important for healthy bowel movements, but getting your RDA is just as important to tackle health issues such as obesity & coronary problems.
